3-Day Gorilla Trekking Safari – Bwindi National Park

Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe and Travel to Bwindi National Park
We recommend arriving at Entebbe International Airport early (before 10:00 am). Our friendly driver-guide will pick you up and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

On the way, we’ll cross the Equator, stop in Mbarara for lunch, and enjoy the scenic views of southwestern Uganda. After a long but beautiful drive, we’ll arrive at your lodge near Bwindi. Check in and relax as you prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, begin your trek into the forest to find a family of gorillas. Once found, you’ll have one magical hour with these gentle giants — a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

After trekking, return to the lodge, freshen up, and check out. We then drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a peaceful lake surrounded by green hills and dotted with 29 scenic islands. This is the perfect place to relax after your adventure.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe for Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with a stunning view of the lake and its islands. Afterward, begin the drive back to Entebbe International Airport. We aim to get you there in time for your evening flight.
